build works fine, however you may wanna consider giving the following build a try. "no need to updated the game to 1.005 when the changes don't effect the game enough to need a separate version. www.map4gold.com/dload/Starsiege-HD.exeThis is a alpha test of a new distro of starsiege "changes have been made and updated since its release" but its still pretty solid. runs smooth min crashing etc. |

Not /, but I do have something to say. The only reason / didn't join with anyone else is because of me. I know my way around X86, PPC, and ARM assembly, so it helps to have someone who has worked on similar projects, and the capability to utilize IDA and other tools. With the 'Community Update' being dead, there will be no proper hooks for future work, nor my master server that's multiplatform and open source, well would've been open source. Might sell it though to someone with the right amount of numbers. |

Oh, and one last thing, since I don't feel like signing up for being able to edit a post. The reason I had / working separately is because I didn't want to work with some of the asshats of this community. After / revealed that we owned Starsiege.org and was prepping stuff for setup, and had our master server running, we suffered from a small ddos, which was quickly averted by the wonderful people that hosted my VPS back then.

dude you are schizo, / aka Lord Vatti, aka KSV aka Nobody is all the same guy. And thats funny, like i said patch version 1.005 was already done years ago by the guys from the squad TA. Yours was posted a couple months. After looking thru both patches it was obvious that the newer patch posted here, was simply copy and paste from the previous 1.005 patch done by TA years ago. And your idea of a multi plat form server, well im sure that idea was stolen too, Barak was the one talking about that.

As for the files being copy/pasted, just throw them in WinMerge and you'll see that they're not the same. An idea cannot be "stolen" anyway. I do multiplatform coding, primarily in C# and some C++, while LordVaati/KSV/whatever only does scripting. If you want, add me on steam, and KSV and I can prove we're seperate entities. Isn't it obvious from grammar use? Or would you guys prefer pics of me and KSV to be proof we're not the same person? |

You already came clean about who you were in GAME IN STARSIEGE. We told you we were taking a look at your patch, and u immediately posted that hateful response, i even brought up the fact that derek lovelace is on the ss facebook and u told me how he got your domain. In game we asked who u were and you put on a variety of names, all of which have been tied together. U have the same nutsty attitude as the person u are defending that u are sayin isnt you, and u want to charge us money for something that would help out starsiege.
All in all, i dont care who you are, u can go fck urself.

What you will want to download is 3dmaxupdated.exe that has the starsiege plugins and the hercs preloaded. Also it's set up for Starsiege for creation of materials already. We tried several times to create 1.005 with new vehicles and weapons. But every time petty problems and a few idiots ruined it for us. You would already be running around in new hercs and tanks and new weapons and zeds if people would have done it for the love of the game and not to be remembered. I learned what I know what i know because I was obsessed with figuring it out. Only wany you can bring back Starsiege I feel is to make it like minecraft is now. Build a website that has a download link, Make new hercs and weapons and frequently post them as single downloads to the servers. Put out the downloads as they are made so interest is gained. Spread the link and have tournaments. This was the problem before..to many people wanting to make new lighting and huds for the old game. The game was fine as it was; it just needed flavor. To many wanting to write lore and have a back story to the new mods. We needed new weapons and tanks and hercs...Screw the rest. Build a new flawless herc..3 new flawless weapons..and your game will come back to life.
