HLAS has been upped considerably, though I might lower the range of the PBW to make it more even. So far I've done the weapons that were meant to be in the game, but were cut due to time constraints. (I so badly want to add in the Knight's PBW, but I can't for the life of me skin a custom projectile -- it fires a "yellowish beam" instead of cybrid PBW's blue.)

I really have to move on, so I'm giving new weapon ideas 10 more days (saturday after this one). I really like that Fusion Scattergun, so that's definitely another one, though I'm rather confused on the push/pull idea. I've also got a few others still in my head, so if all goes well, weapons should be ready for a beta testing on the 1st, after which they'll be tested for approximately a week and all fixes that need doing will be done, and then the weapons will be finalized.
Basically my idea is every field I get done (eg weapons, vehicles, components) will be beta'd before I move on to the next, so I don't get completely overwhelmed and lose track.

How about adding some strategical weapons to the new set instead of adding in some where people just pick... "ooh this one" just to jump in - shoot crap and die.
What about making a special artillery weapon (somewhat heavy) for the myrmidons only or some other heavy vehicle. Could also add in some other type of sniper weapon just like on the Sent mod I believe...but restrict to a certain vehicle like the Predator. Have the Predator be a stealth AND sniper vehicle giving more purpose to it.
Yeah I realize I say restrict stuff ...but it adds strategy where it's lacked before and spices things up a bit imo.

Actually I had an idea about a sniping weapon already, was going to be the next thing I worked on.

Have you noticed how ballistic weapons, and maybe the MFAC kind of knock vehicles around a little bit? I'm talking about some kind of weapon that does that to the extreme. Like a shockwave or implosion type of effect. Energy weapons have a pseudomass column that you can play around with.
And let's see... you can do all sorts of goofy things with missiles. Multiple projectiles, high speed/low turn rate, unusual damage types, etc.

I have two suggestions!
The Harabec Alien MFAC Weapon from the compendium.
The shape of the MFAC of course with the elf/nanite cannon projectile being green that shoots roughly around 500m or so. The weight can be lowered or about the same, just as long as there is a slight difference between them weight and damage wise.
A grenade launcher!
The shape of the emp with the projectile of a mine, but shoots straighter and farther like the bc/hatc with an explosion like the hbc on impact.

Also that'll require a green version of the ELF bmp. NCAN won't work with it, plus I'm already overusing that a bit.

How the hell do you people do that!? Only way I know how is to use that bmp converter that raped Trev's comp, but I use that on a virtual machine, and that's a bitch to switch back and forth.

Because we're smart. Problem here is it's been a while..so I forgot how to reformat the image back into a PBMP so the projectile is transparent in game. I'm aware that SS Tools has such a program, but I have yet to tinker with it completely.

Ah I figured out that tool in less than 5 minutes.
Also, know any good empty IRCs? I'm getting kinda lonely not discussing ideas and such. I actually miss the earlier try when it was a group effort.

I can't get this silly thing to work -- apparently it needs to be a .png with an alphamap palette... these damn technical terms are going to drive me nuts. Oh well more playtime with Photoshop.

Edit: Sky you need to write a tutorial for us idiots so I'm not completely lost when you're gone =p.
