Keybinds for the steam controller that I used. This setup uses the Keyboard_Mouse.cs default configuration. Played through both of the campaigns to completion using the setup without once having to use the regular mouse/keyboard/joystick etc.
To start open steam big picture mode, select the gear, base configuration, desktop configuration.
Select the ADD ACTION SET name it STARSSIEGE then go back to DEFAULT. Change a binding to a button (I used the button to the left of the steam button) bind Select Action Set to STARSIEGE.
Head to the STARSIEGE Action Set then input the bindings in the image below.

When you are done binding the steam controller exit steam big picture mode and exit steam. In order for the controller to work with Starsiege elevated permissions are necessary for windows 10. Right click on the steam icon select 'Run as administrator' to reopen steam. Now open Starsiege and play the game.
