I'm not too good at this but I know how to do it. Its just, how do I go about making it look right? I'm trying to make a Judg skin based off my personal color scheme (that of the character in my avatar), purple with black secondary with red trims and a bit of silver/gray. But even getting 1 color isn't easy for me since I'm not too good with shades. Also I'm gonna add the 2 icons from my sigs to it, the Yellow Cross on the front, but where should I put the circular one? Any help would be welcome.

To get a color that you want like purple, you need to change the hue and saturation levels. But first you need to select the area in which you want to color. There is a tool that I use quite a bit called the lasso. I'm not sure what program you are using, but there may be one similar. I would highly recommend using layers as some programs (Photoshop) can simply copy and paste your selected area and make it a new layer. The circular one can go on the side weapon mounts (like the apoc). Hope this helps!

Oh, well I have nothing with layers, I use MSpaint. ^^; I had a feeling of putting the circular ones there (but its the Adjudicator) since thats the most noticeable spot. Most people put them on those things and the side of the feet (where the Plat. Guard's symbol is) but I don't like putting it on the feet. All in all, likely easier for me to just request it, making hues is way to much hassle for an non-artist like, me. Unless I'm making it all one solid color, but that looks odd. (or recoloring the Dread's bulldozer) Thanks for the info none the less.

If you don't have Photoshop, you can get GiMP. It's like PS but it's freeware.

I'm not an artist though, I probably wouldn't make anything good. x.x
