I decided to pull out my target info script again to see if I could improve how it functions. So far I got it using METextList's to display information without having to save long variables then output them to simple text objects. The position of the information displayed varies depending on your screen resolution. But it is always located on the left side of the screen. The script attempts to grab your targets mount data every second. However, it will not attempt to if you do not have a target or are not in a server. You cannot use this script in your own server (Non-Dedicated) because it relies on the fact that you do not have a server running because to get a players internal mount data the script must store the target vehicle to a file, create and initialize the server, load in the stored vehicle, capture that vehicles internal mount data then delete the server. It captures weapons and the targets shields, armor, and special internals. The rest of the components I decided to exclude because it was unneeded information. I did not want this script to bump heads with Rearview so it has its own looping function instead of game::endframe. Download: www.mediafire.com/download.php?16d9zrc3aat5zd7

ive been trying to get some target equip readouts to work, but none seem to be functional... i like your idea, but it seems like itd be more cpu intensive and i prefer to see all the component, especially engine and reactor, so i know how to deal with my opponent better... whether i should expect them to run out of energy or be slow targets, etc. here is an old onscan loadout display that doesnt seem to work, though i think it should... would you mind taking a look at it? included the zip as attachment Attachments:

Vehicle::Onscan is a server side function that will not work on a standalone client. You could create a initial function that fires off the script and bind it to a seperate key.
There are no functions to return energy level or ammo.
edit: Oops! Forgot to change the download link since megaupload got shutdown.

I adjusted some of the label variables a bit. component type labels are off by default. Added a configuration window for the text along with a transparent background behind the text so it can be read in bright maps. Downloads: www.mediafire.com/?s2qc7z3h4x2za05Control T brings up the configuration.

great work, pd. one problem though; when i click save and close on the config menu, it does not save the changes and reverts to default
edit: i found the problem; you had apostrophes on Export("TargetInfo::*" instead of quotations
