technical issue

Hey guys
Long story short, I had to restore my computer to factory settings because of a virus. I pulled my SS file off of the computer beforehand. I just dragged these to my harddrive, but after a few minutes of playing, the game crashes. So I figured I would download the game again from the CD, but I can't get the autorun to start. The prompt comes up when I insert the CD, but nothing spins when I click "run autorun." I've tried running it as administrator as well as telling my antivirus to allow the game full access, but to no avail. As a side note, I've tested my CD drive with a music CD, and it plays. Steely Dan, for those interested.

If you still have your other Starsiege install, pull those files back over.
Open console.cs and remove the follow script-
regOk("/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Dynamix/Starsiege", "PATH");

That will stop the crash that occurs after 5 minutes of loading the game.

As a side note, I suppose I have to extract the "console.cs" file, correct? The closest thing I have is console.pft. I'll hunt around in the forums for how to extract it, since I thought I saw it in there.
