My dad is running Windows 7 on an i3 Core computer. He has enough ram and his video card is good. His connection is also good.
He downloaded the full complete mod from the other forum on his website/forum. But, when he hits the search button for multiplayer servers, he says there are none. Then, I had him try to manually input my ip and port number to add my server to his list, and that did not work. I tried to do the same on his end, and I could not find him either. He is able to start his own server as a player and move around and shoot stuff, but that is about it.
My dad is also running Norton antivirus in the back ground. He did shut down the fire wall but that did not work. He has not tried to disable Norton antivirus yet, but I have not heard back from him regarding this. I think he is going to try and do a complete uninstall and then download from this site again and attempt another reinstall to get it to work.
However, if it still does not work, He is going to need some help to get it going, and if that is the case, it will be beyond my ability to help him. I have advised him to get a head set and then download team speak so that way it will be a lot easier for you guys to help him out. But, in the mean time, until he gets a headset, if you have any suggestions for us to try, please let me know so I can pass along the information.
Thanks again in advance for your help!
