Starsiege was one of my most loved games back in the day, with its tremendous 32 player battles and modability and amazing community. It's so heart warming to see things still kicking, even on a low boil. I remember the day when the Sierra master server shut down and we lost so many people then, and a community master server came to replace it. I loved Dustersteve's amazing cooperative campaign maps and I loved the community to death in general. Thank you Eye and everyone else for being so devoted to this amazing, classic game. It's really sad going to old links and finding dead site after dead site where once where huge, bustling communities, like the MIB clan, or the Birds of Prey, and rereading the story of Starsiege 2845 legacy.the-junkyard.net/ss2845press.php#su is so sad in its way, ugh... So many memories, it literally brings a tear to my eye thinking about how much fun we all had and how the game goes largely forgotten, and also how many other games from my youth are utterly, completely dead and will never be enjoyed by anyone ever again due to age, unpopularity, and technical problems such as the Great Gamespy Online Gaming Apocalypse... Anyway... Thank you, everyone! If you look here a decently popular Youtuber gave a great letsplay of Starsiege www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhD98U7qPSw and you should all post in the comments about how you still actively play online, and give resources to help other people join in! There's about 14 videos with over 100k views accumulatively, so it's definitely worth your time!
